Lancaster University Ghana
Is the only British university campus in Africa and the most expensive. A private school with a tuition fee of $9,000 (39,482 cedis) per semester. Its parent body is amongst the top 10 leading UK universities. Established in March 2002 at their East Legon campus, the university has grown rapidly over the years which lead to opening of a new campus. Another expensive school is the Ghanaian based campus of Webster University in the United States of America. Titution fee ranges to $4,900 (21,482 cedis) per semester for this private school. There are other campuses in Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Thailand, China and Greece. Fully accredited in Ghana by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and the US based Higher Learning Commission (HLC) it is one of the most prestigious schools in Ghana located in East Legon. They provide students have the option to study abroad and/or transfer to any of Webster University’s campuses in Asia, Europe and America.
Ashesi University
Ashesi University ranks among the most expensive schools in Ghana with tuition fee of $3,852 (16,936 cedis) per semester. It was established in March 2002 and is located in Brekuso. It is known to have one of the most serene environment conducive for learning. Surrounded by lush gardens it is the perfect hideout from the city’s hustle and bustle. The most outstanding feature of this prestigious school is their Honour Code established in 2008 and adopted by the student community. Under this code students take all their examinations without invigilators, being responsible to maintain honesty in all exams.

Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)
Formerly known as Institute of Public Administration. Located at Greenhill in Accra, it was established in 1961 by the government of Ghana with assistance from the United Nations Special Fund project. Despite being public university it is quite on the high side. With a tuition fee of 6,000 Ghana cedis per semester.
Central University College.
An educational initiative of ICGC whose founder is Pastor Mensah Otabil is considered a private school. It first began as a pastoral training institute in 1988. Later grew to include other programs and became Central University College in 1998. It is coeducational and has 6 faculties and located at Dwahenya.
