Siriboe is the only Ghanaian to make the list
Budding Ghanaian actor Kofir Siriboe has been named on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2018.
The model-actor stars in Ava DuVernay's critically acclaimed "Queen Sugar" as Ralph Angel Bordelon, a formerly incarcerated young father. Siriboe also had a recurring role on MTV's "Awkward" and made a scene-stealing turn in "Girls Trip. " The son of Ghanaian immigrants, Siriboe has posed for brands including True Religion and Barneys New York.
“The sweetness, the humility, the effort that he puts in to try and live a better life [as a character, Ralph Angel], really that is part of the sex appeal.” Those are the words of director Ava Duvernay about Kofi Siriboe. The 23-year-old hunk is one of three brothers who are all making inroads into Hollywood.
The Forbes list is considered among the most prestigious in the world and this year featured 600 visionaries from over 20 industries.
Other Africans who made the list include teenage Ugandan actress, Madine Nalwanga who starred in Queen of Katwe and Nigerian innovator Iyinoluwa Aboyeji of Flutterwave.
