Actress: Yvonne Nelson opens up about how her mum reacted to her pregnancy

Yvonne Nelson has opened up about how her mother reacted when she got pregnant.

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has disclosed in an exclusive interview with WOW Magazine how her mother reacted to her pregnancy.

In the interview, she said her mum is very “traditional” who would prefer marriage before child birth.

However, when she became pregnant, her mum’s priority changed.

She became more concerned about the baby, she noted.

”My mum, she used to be so big on marriage, she was very traditional, marriage  then baby until I got pregnant, its like everything changed, I guess your priority obviously changes to something else. She is now more concerned about the baby," she said.

She also noted that her mum does pressure her anymore to get married.

“She doesn’t put pressure on my anymore with marriage you know, like its it not like I am engaged or married or something, it’s just that when it happens, it happens. As a woman, you cannot marry yourself,” he noted.
