
The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) on supervised the inauguration of two bodies under its umbrella.
The Para-Athletics and the Para-Powerlifting have been inaugurated by the National Paralympic Committee.
A colourful ceremony was organised at the Accra Sports Stadium to announce the leadership of the two association.
The executives of Para-Powerlifting are Samson Deen (President), Peter Adjei (vice president), Michael Kwame, Edward Oppong and Ignatius Ellertey (Executive members).

The Para-Athletics will be headed by Dr. Isaac Ankomah, vice president is Otor Plahar, Secretary General, Peter Adjei, P.R.O, Winfred Nafisa, and the executive members are Ignatius Ellertey, Shaban Mohammed and Sesiman Donatus.
The programme which took place on Thursday morning was graced by the deputy Youth and Sports minister Pius Enam, Hon Robert Sarfo Mensah, the Director General of the National Sports Authority and Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, board chairman of the National Sports Authority.
