WhatsApp has been having issues since around 7.10 am in the UK.
People on Twitter are complaining that Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp is down.
Business Insider tried to load the app — it shows messages already on the device but won't connect to WhatsApp's servers to send or receive new messages.
Website DownDetector, which monitors user reports of issues with websites and online services, said the issues had been going on since 3.10 am EDT (7.10 am UK time).
