Italian court has released Solomon Nyantakyi from prison after murdering his mother and sister.
Ghanaian player Solomon Nyantakyi who murdered his mother and sister in Parma has been released by the law court.
The former Parma youth team player grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons months ago when he murdered his mother, Patience and sister, Magdalene, who was only 11 years in July for reasons yet to be known in their home in Parma.
Nyantakyi was arrested in Milan as he attempted to flee although the incident took place in their home in Via San Leonardo, the outskirts of Parma, which is a multi-ethnic neighborhood where many Ghanaians live.
The suspect’s elder brother Raymond Nyantakyi, 25, returned home from work in the evening of the incident to discover the gruesome murder of Patience Nfum, 45, and little sister Magdalene Nyantakyi, 11 who were both Ghanaians living in Italy.
When Raymond opened the door he found a gruesome scene with blood everywhere, on the floor, on walls and on the furniture in their sixth-floor apartment.
Nyantakyi despite his arrest and imprisonment has been released for mental reason, but been declared socially dangerous.
