A post-graduate student of the University of Ghana has been installed as the Queen Mother of Akwamu Adumasa in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.
The 32-year-old, Diana Agbayizah is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Institute of African Studies.
She took the stool name Nana Afua Serwaa I.

She was subsequently sent to Adumasa palace ahead of the installation.
On Monday, she was outdoored before a durbar of chiefs and people from the Akwamu Traditional Area. She then went through the necessary rituals towards her initiation.
After taking the oath of allegiance, she pledged that she will not abandon the needs of her people and chief.
Nana Ansa Kwao IV also urged her to use her background in academics to ensure that her people have the needed development.
