Rwanda has been ranked highest country in the world with most women in parliament as of January 2017.
Every year, the World Economic Forum released its annual Global Gender Gap index, which ranks the gap between the genders in categories ranging from economic power to educational equality.
The East African country has 64 women in its parliament as against 36 men.
The report shows that the gap between men and women is narrowing slowly than hoped but also includes some fascinating insights into the role of women in societies around the world.
Rwanda is followed directly by Bolivia, Cuba and Sweden.
