Police in Koforidua have arrested a 25-year-old man, Prince Baah, for impersonation.
Baah was seen impersonating as a policeman at Koforidua and wearing police uniform in town.
Police officers were alerted over his activities and they subsequently proceeded to his room at Okorase, Koforidua.

A search was conducted and the following items were found in his possession: three sets of Ghana Police uniform [one set of Camouflage, Set of Black Uniform, a blue black Police Uniform], a blue black berret with police crest, name tag bearing No. 50721 Prince Baah.
Other items such as a pair of long black boots, a bayonet, specimen charged sheet book, police belt with ammunition Porch containing two body spray which looks like pepper spray as well as police flashlight were also retrieved.

The suspect told the police during interrogation that he got the uniforms from a policeman stationed at Kumasi and Effiduase but bought the other accoutrements at Asawase, Kumasi.
The exhibits have been retained and the suspect has been detained for investigation.
