The Black Stars B seek revenge as they face Nigeria in the final of the 2017 WAFU Cup.
Maxwell Konadu says his side will come in stronger when they take on Nigeria in the final of the 2017 WAFU Cup on Sunday in Cape Coast.
Ghana lost their final group A game against Nigeria, but the two nations have progressed to the final of the competition, after they overcame Niger and Benin respectively in the semi-finals.
Coach Maxwell Konadu believes Ghana will avenge the defeat they had in the hands of Nigeria in the semi
“Come Sunday we would be very prepared for Nigeria. They beat the last time round and we have to be very strong on Sunday, but we have to fight hard to make sure we turn the tables around.
“We know we’re the defending champions but that belongs to history and this coming Sunday is a new chapter we have to open. And we will do so by beating Nigeria and we shall come very strong and I know is not going to be an easy match,” Konadu said in a post-match interview.
Ghana will play Nigeria in the final on Sunday, while Benin face Niger in the third-place playoff on Saturday.
