
The popular TV host, Countryman Songo has taken a swipe at Asamoah Gyan after Ghana’s 1-5 win in Brazzaville against Congo
Patrick Osei Agyemang a.k.a Countryman Songo has hit out at the skipper of the Black Stasr Asamoah Gyan, telling him his place in the team should be the jama leader and a member of the playing body.
Ghana demolished Congo 1-5 in Brazzaville on Tuesday on match day four of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to revive their hopes of booking a place in Russia.
Asamoah Gyan who got injured in the first leg in Kumasi and was replaced, travelled to Brazzaville with the team to inspire the Black Stars earn a 1-5 away victory.
However, Countryman Songo who has been a number critic of the Black Stars took to his Twitter page to indicate that the team without the 31-year-old striker managed a 1-5 victory, adding that Gyan should remain the jama leader and not a member of the playing body.
Asamoah Gyanhas leading the jama of the Black Stars for years.
He is the all-time top scorer of Ghana with 50 goals.
