Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu suffered an injury in his debut appearance for Turkish side Bursaspor in their 2-1 defeat against Balikesirspor in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
The 27-year-old joined the Green Crocodiles on Thursday, as he was handed his first start by coach Paul Le Guen but Badu picked up a knock in the late stages of the game which saw him withdrawn from the game.
Bursaspor conceded first through an own goal by Aziz Behich in the 5th minute. He however made amends by grabbing the equalizer with a beautiful placement 15 minutes later. Bal?kesirspor capitalized on a poor defensive display and punished by Foxi Kethevoama in the 82nd minute.
Coach Paul Le Guen will be hoping Badu recovers from this injury setback as they face Istanvul Ba?ak?ehir in the opening day of the Turkish Super Lig.
