Mensah Otabil tells congregation to put their belief and faith above logic in his rebuttal against social media critics
Dr. Mensah Otabil, the Head Pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has responded to the uproar of criticism that flooded social media about a leaked footage of ‘Special Offering’ and their related blessings at the Greater Works Conference 2017.
Social media commentators vexed out their anger against the church as the pastor accusing him of commercialization of the gospel and extortion from congregants at the conference.
Many were of the view that the revered minister of God having criticized some unpopular actions of other clergies should not be entangled in such issues seeming to defraud.
In response to such accusations leveled against in and his church Pastor Mensah Otabil alludes that the Christian faith and walk with God is a subject of belief and faith.

He suggestedthatpeopleshouldn’t judge their actionsbased on logicbecausetheyaren’t logical.
"Believe goes beyond logic. Logic would tell you that if you have a GHC1000 in your account then you can expend a GHC1000 because that is logical. Believe would tell you that if you have five loads of bread, you don’t feed five people. Believe would tell you that if you have five loaves of bread, you can feed 5,000. That’s not logical," he said speaking the mammoth congregation at Greater Works 2017.
He urged the congregants to believe what the scripture commands and receive their blessings thereof.
"You’re going to believe that all things are possible and you’re going to believe according to receive what has been made available to you by Christ Jesus" he admonished the church.
