The $200, 000 astro-turf facility developed by Asamoah Gyan for his alma-mater Accra Academy was commissioned on Wednesday by former President Rawlings.
Asamoah Gyan has been made a member of the Order of the Platinum which is the highest award of Accra Academy Senior High School.
The first face of the project which cost the Black Stars skipper $200, 000 started in January 2016 and was completed in July, 2017.
It was unveiled on Wednesday on the Accra Aca campus by ex-President Jerry John Rawlings on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Asamoah Gyan graduated from Accra Academy Senior High School in 2002.
He has played at three different FIFA World Cup Cups, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
