At a press conference Friday to announce the deployment for the one-year mandatory service, Mr Ussif Mustapha said 76,908 personnel have been posted to the public sector while 14,963 people have been deployed to the private sector.
The National Service Scheme (NSS)has posted over 91,000 fresh graduates to various state and private instutions, the acting NSS boss has said.
At a press conference Friday to announce the deployment for the one-year mandatory service, Mr Ussif Mustapha said 76,908 personnel have been posted to the public sector while 14,963 people have been deployed to the private sector.

In addition, he said some 2,000 personnel will be deployed to manage the various NSS farms as part of moves to support the Government's "Planting for Food and Jobs" programme.
Mr Mustapha warned that service postings will not be changed but said personnel with genue reasons will be attended to.
He urged personnel to serve with pride in any community deployed to.
This year's postings has been released two months ahead of time.

But Mr Mustapha says it is to offer personnel more time to prepare and make arrangements for accomodations.
He said service personnel are expected to complete their biometric registration at their respective district offices between 17th July and 17th August, 2017.
