Ms Francisca Oteng was already enrolled at the university and was in her final year pursuing LLB at the College of Humanities when she contested for the position.
Her ascent to becoming MP of the area started with her shocking victory in the constituency primary in 2015.
She beat the incumbent Kofi Frimpong with 321 votes in an area known to be a hub of the then-opposition party and coincidentally gave the NPP a chunk of its votes.
When asked how she was going to juggle her work and school she told reporters that she was more than capable of handling both jobs.
She graduated over the weekend along with 2,200 from the university.
