“No agency under the Ministry of the Interior would undertake a recruitment exercise without advertising in the dailies,” the statement said.

The security agencies under the Ministry are the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Immigration Service, and the Ghana Prisons Service.

The statement said they were all not recruiting and urged the general public to report any person who alleges there is an ongoing recruitment to the police.
“Any such person or group of persons purporting to recruit into the security agencies should be reported to the nearest police station.”
