Photos: State funeral for Major Maxwell Mahama underway

Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.

The remains of Major Maxwell Adam Mahama, the soldier who was murdered a week ago by some residents of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region, have been laid in state at the forecourt of the State House for a state-supported funeral.

 

The family of the late officer, top military and government officials, friends and sympathizers are at the venue to pay their last respect.
