Another suspect identified as Appiah Emmanuel was also arrested on Friday at Sefwi Dwinase in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western Region.
This brings to 18, the total number of suspects arrested in connection with the killing.
The Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department, DCOP Bright Oduro, on Friday at a press briefing before the arrest of the two said 16 persons have been arrested.
Mr Oduro said seven of them are on remand including the assemblyman of the area who is alleged to have incited the mob.
According to him, they have been charged with murder.

The Police have said the woman who raised false alarm over the identity of the dead soldier has been identified but she is yet to be arrested.
Though the woman has been identified, she is yet to be arrested because she has gone into hiding, Mr Oduro said.
