Asante Kotoko managed a 0-1 win at Tema Sports Stadium to hand Tema Youth their first defeat at home this season.
The game failed to produce any goal in the first half, but Baba Mahama broke the deadlock of the game in the 67 minute in what stood as the only goal of the match.
Asante Kotoko last win before the game had come on match day seven in Kumasi against West African Football Academy (WAFA) and had been struggling to get a win since that game. Their woes started against Hearts of Oak who edged them by a goal to nil in Accra on match day eight (8)
