The Ghanaian striker is enjoying a prolific season in Norway
Gilbert Koomson scored three times to help Sogndal to a 4-0 win over Viking in the Norwegian top flight on Saturday.

The 22-year-old opened his account as early as the first minute of the game, before adding two more in the 38th and 69th minutes. Teammate Martin Ramsland scored the last goal in the 87th minute to give Sogndal a comfortable home win.
The striker's season tally moves up to four goals in eight games so far in the 2017 Eliteserien season, but his Sogndal side have struggled, occupying 13th place, only above the relegation zone on goal difference.

In October last year, Koomson made his Black Stars debut in a friendly against South Africa after being handed a call-up by former coach Avram Grant.
