“We appeal to our cherished fans to ignore these reports with all the contempt it deserves since the story carries no iota of truth and clearly depicts a sign of intent to denigrate Hearts of Oak”, the release stated.
“We humbly appeal to all who are associated with the spreading of these falsehood to as a matter of urgency, correct the falsehood and save the good image of the club and their profession”.
“Team Hearts went for a two-hour photo shoot session with Star times at the stadium after which we had our daily training”, the statement said.
Hearts occupy the third position in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) log and would play against Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Park on Sunday in match-day 19 of the GPL.
