German shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 125.28 points, or 0.98 percent, to close at 12,690.44 points.
German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies lost the most among the blue chips, down by 4.13 percent, followed by multinational software corporation SAP and Manufacturing and electronics company Siemens, which lost 2.52 percent and 2.03 percent respectively.
Volkswagen, Adidas and Daimler were the top three winners, rising 1.69 percent, 1.42 percent and 0.80 percent respectively.
SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 336.08 million euros (377.11 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
