Greek Energy Minister Yorgos Stathakis made the announcement after a meeting with local authorities and people affected.
The village of Anargyroi at the outskirts of Amyntaio town, some 540 kilometers north of Athens, was evacuated during the weekend and will be demolished and relocated after a major landslide at the nearby lignite mine operated by Greece’s state-owned Public Power Corporation on Saturday.
