Star Times Ghana, broadcasters of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), has expressed their profound apology to football loving fans following their inability to telecast any game during the match day 17, of the GPL.
According to a statement signed by Mr. Ernest Quaye Arday, the Director of StarTimes Ghana and copied to the GNA Sports, their failure to bring the games to the television audience was due to circumstances beyond their control.
He added that they have put measures in place to ensure that the rest of the games are televised without any break.
“We entreat our fans and the media to recognize the fact our premier league needs all the understanding and the support it can get from the media, instead of the constant designation of the very organization, that are making effort and sacrifices to lift the Ghana premier league to a higher height.
“StarTimes has invested in getting the games out regularly, in this regard, we would like to announce the completion of our multimillion dollar ultra-modern OB Van, which we believe will solve some of these teething challenges that StarTimes has encountered,” said Quaye Arday.
