To that end he has arranged for buses at vantage points to provide free transportation to the candidates who have to travel from especially Dawu, Awukugua and VRA resettlement quarters to the Nifa secondary school examination centre each day to enhance their performance.
Mr Botwe who is also the Minister for Regional Re-organization and Development toured some of the examination centres in his Constituency on Monday morning, and advised the candidates prior to the start of the first paper, to avoid any act that would mar the outcomes of their results.
He urged them to strictly adhere to the rules of the examination.
As part of the support, bags of sachet water were provided at the two examination centres in the constituency to meet the needs of all the candidates throughout the period.
For the past nine years, Mr Botwe had instituted measures including extra classes for BECE candidates, throughout the constituency, distributed mathematical sets and pens and other basic logistics to improve upon the BECE results and education in general in the area.
This year all 799 candidates in the area, earlier, have been given mathematical sets and pens to provide them with the basic needs and requirement for the examination.
