Dr Nii Kotei Dzani, Founder and President of Groupe Ideal, one of the fastest growing business groups in Ghana, will be honoured with the GUBA 2017 Black Star Influential Economist Award at the Intercontinental Hotel in London on Saturday the 3rd of June 2017.
The Influential Economist Award recognises outstanding individuals with unique financial acumen who play a pivotal role in creating sustaining business models. The prestigious ‘GUBA Black Star Award’ will be awarded to thirteen outstanding members of the Ghanaian, UK and African community, honouring them for their consistency, dedication to excellence and longstanding contributions to society.
Born in Lolonya in the Ada District of the Greater Accra Region, Dr Dzani holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, an MBA in Corporate Governance & Finance from University of Hull, UK, and an Honorary Doctorate from Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma. He also holds an Honorary Professor in Business from the Academic Union, Oxford, UK.
Dr Dzani worked with Canal Capital, a Private Equity Firm and rose to become the Head of Business Development & Consultancy. He subsequently worked with Barclays bank in Ghana.
A trailblazing entrepreneur, Dr Dzani progressed to establish Ideal Finance in 2010. Ideal Finance has grown it into a credible finance house and the flagship brand of Groupe Ideal.
