Frank Elliot Nuttal, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has heaped praise on sensational attacking midfielder, Winful Cobbinah despite his side’s 1-1 draw with City rivals Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In a post-match press conference, the Scottish tactician said Winful Cobbinah does special things with the ball at his feet which other players can’t do, and that, he has also improved defensively since joining the Phobians.
“Cobbinah can do things other players can’t on the field, sometimes he tries things that do not come off well, but when they do come off good, it’s wonderful and fantastic, he can win you a game with just a touch of the ball.
“Cobbinah has improved defensively, he’s got better, he is more disciplined now, with or without the ball and that’s a lot of things people don’t see in the games. He is disciplined and he helps the team when we don’t have the ball”, said Nuttal
Winful Cobbinah returned to Accra Hearts of Oak in February this year, after a failed stint with Al Najran in Saudi Arabia.
He earned a call up into the Local Black Stars after providing six assists and winning two consecutive Man of the match awards in the first round of the Ghana premier league season.
