The Tema Regional Police Command says a Burkinabe has been shot in an armed robbery attack in Tema.
Mr. Paris Iddrisu was on Saturday shot in the right thigh by robbers at Community Four, Tema, whilst he was walking towards his car.
According to the Police, he had completed a business transaction and was walking away with an amount of CFA 24 million cash when armed men on two motorbikes attacked and robbed him of the said amount.
The Police said the victim was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was responding to treatment.
The Police have begun investigations into the incident and appealed to the general public for information.
