The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) has reduced the policy rate from 23.5 percent to 22.5 percent today.
The decision was based on the easing of headline inflation and inflation expectations in the country.
Announcing the decision at a press conference in Accra, Dr Ernest Addison added the economic activity in the country is picking up.
