Namibia’s Zambezi regional council and Zambian Western Province are working on a memorandum of understanding that will see the two regions cooperate in a number of areas.
The parties are meeting in Katima Mulilo in Namibia’s Zambezi region this week.
Alpheus Sampofu, Governor of the Zambezi region on Thursday said that meeting was commissioned as part of efforts to explore and increase areas of cooperation between the two regions and simultaneously the two countries.
Nathaniel Mubukwanu, Minister of Zambia Western Province, said that the gathering is timely as there is a need to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
“We as people must drive our own agenda and collaborate amongst ourselves so that our aspirations for a better life of our people can be attained collectively,” he said. Enditem
