ShawbellConsulting, an Accra-based Legal and Institutional Reform Services, on Wednesday donated office accessories to the Yaa Asantewaa Ward of the 37 Military Hospital.
The items donated include; reception furniture, 26 pieces of curtains, 13 pieces of curtain rods, 32 inch Samsung LED TV, Antenna and wall mount, painting of the reception, four Zimmer frames and four walking sticks.
Others were; two new air conditioners for the blood bank, six study chairs and one swivel chair for receptionists at the Orthopaedic Ward.
Mr Richard Torkoornoo, the Senior Consultant of the firm, who made the donation on behalf of Mrs Phyllis Maria Christian, the Chief Executive Officer of ShawbellConsulting, said the presentation was a token of appreciation to the hospital.
He said Mrs Christian who was admitted and treated at the ward few months ago, deemed it fit to aid the ward with the items after a thorough assessment of some the basic needs of the ward.
He said Shawbell was committed to helping to grow the country’s economy through its Corporate Social Responsibility activities adding, “Anything we can do to help Ghanaians develop the economy is what Shawbell stands for”.
Mr Torkoorno encouraged health practitioners to deliver best of services to patients in their line of duties.
Brigadier General Ernest Saka Jnr, the Commander of the Hospital, who received the items, commended Mrs Christian for the gesture and called on other benevolent institutions and philanthropists to come to their aid.
