Confucius Institute in Benin on Wednesday inaugurated a Confucius Classroom in the University Center of Adjarra, 45 km south-east to the economic capital Cotonou.
The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences in Adjarra’s University Center hosts this new Confucius Classroom expected to be another open-door for cultural exchanges between China and Benin.
The inauguration ceremony occurred in a friendly atmosphere as learners from the Confucius Institute of Abomey Calavi University highlighted the event with Chinese songs and dances as well as with martial arts shows.
Confucius Institute was established since 2009 in Benin and has over 4,000 learners spread in eighteen teaching sites with at least thirty teachers from China and Benin. Enditem
