SEOUL — Ousted South Korean President Park Geun-hye appeared Tuesday in the prosecutors’ office to be questioned over a corruption scandal that led to her impeachment earlier this month.

LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan — A car bombing had killed three pro-government militia and injured eight others in the southern Helmand province, a local official said Tuesday.

JALALABAD, Afghanistan — Up to 26 militants loyal to the Islamic State (IS) group had been killed after drones bombed the armed outfit’s hideouts in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, a police spokesman of the province said Tuesday.
