Young people from nine different constituencies in Namibia on Monday completed a training on project management that will enable them to help address poverty countrywide.
The Project Management Workshop, between March 8 and 13, aims to pave the way to establishing one enterprise in each of Namibia’s 121 constituencies.
According to the Social Progression pillar of the Harambee Prosperity Plan, the most visible manifestation of poverty in the country is in the form of hunger.
Speaking at a media briefing in Windhoek on Monday, Penina Iita, councilor of the Windhoek Rural constituency of the Khomas region, encouraged the trainees to be persistent in harnessing their skills for the future. Enditem
