Authorities at Edwenase Rehabilitation Center say resource constraints are impeding training of people in their care.
Centre Manager, Modesto Ayiwole, says the home has space and staff to cater for more people but funding remains a challenge.
Edwenase Rehabilitation Centre was first established at Kwadaso in 1958 to provide care for people with disability.

Mr. Ayiwole says the centre has been depending on the benevolence of individuals and organisations to survive due to inadequate state subvention.
Meanwhile, the Ladies Club of the Building and Road Research Institute has reached out to the home with assorted food items.
President of the association, Winifred Prempew, says the gesture is a contribution of members to making life meaningful for the less fortunate.
“We are using the occasion to create awareness that the BRRI exist as a one-stop-shop in the building and road industry,” she said.
