After becoming the first Ghanaian to win a Grammy earlier this year for his contributions to Ed Sheeran’s album, Fuse ODG is back once again with his new track ‘Bra Fie’ (Come Home) ft. Damian "Jr Gong" Marley.
According to the “Island” hitmaker, the song talks about the need for Africans living abroad to focus on coming back home to help develop and build their country.
In a yet to be aired interview with Becky on the EWITHBECKS show on Joy Prime, Fuse explains that “the next mission is about bringing people back home.”
It’s very important because “this is the purest land on earth and it’s our motherland,” he added.
“Bra Fie” is taken from Fuse ODG’s forthcoming album “New Africa Nation,” which will be released in February next year.
Apart from music, Fuse is passionately engaged in helping African people spread the word of their culture by prospering in creative endeavours that include record labels, music festivals, fashion brands and even children’s toys and books.
By connecting with the international community, Fuse believes that those cultural roots will inspire investment and tourism from the world-at-large.
Catch Fuse on E WITH BECKS this Sunday at 5 PM on Joy Prime as he takes us through the many inspiring things he is up to.
