Hardworking indigenes from the Eastern Region including President Nana Akufo-Addo, were Thursday night honoured for their contribution towards the region’s development.
The ‘Eastern Star Awards’ among others, also aims at motivating these industrious citizens to continue with their good works and also to inspire others to emulate them.
In all, about 23 indigenes of the region were honored for their contribution to development in the fields of health, environment, agriculture, and media among others.
