With a total of 120 points, GW3’s team of the week was heavily dominated by London-based players. 72% of the players in the team of the week play for London clubs.
Jonas Lossl (HUDDERSFIELD) – £4.5
The Huddersfield town goalkeeper helped the Terriers rescue a crucial point against Cardiff despite being a man down. Lossl won both bonus points and save points and ended up with 9 points.
Kieran Trippier (TOTTENHAM) - £6.0
For the second GW in a row, the Tottenham full-back has scored 11 points. He was phenomenal at Old Trafford providing an assist for Kane’s goal and also kept a clean sheet.
Michael Keane (EVERTON) - £5.0
Unfortunately, the Everton center back suffered a fractured skull later in the match but a goal in the second half was enough to secure 10 points.
Harry Maguire (LEICESTER) - £5.5
Maguire’s last-minute winner was enough to get him all three bonus points as the defender ended up with 10 points.
Nacho Monreal (ARSENAL) - £5.5
Monreal added to his impressive goal tally by scoring the equalizer against West Ham on Saturday, enough to grant him 10 points.
Marcos Alonso (CHELSEA) - £6.5
Two assists was enough to see the Spanish full-back become the highest scorer in FPL (35 points). He has now scored double figures in three consecutive Gameweeks.
Jean Michael Seri (FULHAM) - £5.4
A debut goal to remember and 4 created chances was enough to get him 9 points.
Lucas Moura (TOTTENHAM) - £7.1
The Brazilian scored twice on Monday and now has three goals from his last two appearances. He is currently the second-most bought player heading into Gameweek 4, with more than 235,000 new owners.
Aleksandar Mitrovic (FULHAM) - £6.6
GW3's highest scorer, Mitrovic hit two goals and provided an assist for maximum bonus points. He is the most-bought forward in Gameweek 4, ahead of Fulham's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Harry Kane (TOTTENHAM) - £12.5
The Spurs striker maintained his new formula to break his August curse by scoring the opener at Old Trafford. He also provided an assist and earned two bonus points.
Luciano Vietto (FULHAM) - £5.5
Vietto marked his first start for the Cottagers with a pair of assists in a performance enjoyed by only 0.5 per cent of FPL managers.
