Music sensation Patapaa Amisty is bragging that his fellow musician Kuami Eugene’s brand is not bigger than his.
The ‘One Corner’ hitmaker says he was given a rousing welcome when both of them arrived in Tamale for a concert recently.
“I was furious when I met Kuami Eugene on our way to Tamale for a show, I did not understand why he had to make those allegations but I had to let go,” he said.
A few weeks ago, Kuami Eugene was reported to have said that he will never collaborate with Patapaa since the latter’s music he claimed is too noisy.
The statement did not sit well with Patapaa who replied the Lynx Signee Kuami with a diss track.
However speaking to JoyNews’ MzGee after his encounter with Kuami Eugene, Patapaa revealed that he decided to bury the hatchet after On Air Personality Abeiku Santana called them to order.
“When we got to Tamale, everyone was all over me, calling me Patapeezy, it was obvious my fans outweighed his,” he bragged.
When MzGee asked if his assertion was to insinuate that he was bigger than Kuami Eugene, Patapa retorted “I cannot say that and truth be told he cannot also say he is bigger than me because my name resonates all over.”
