The capital city of Rwanda, Kigali is fast becoming a tourist giant on the continent of Africa after an otherwise gloomy past.
After the genocide that shocked the world and shook the foundation of the nation, Rwanda is long dusted up and is rewriting a different story.
Kigali, besides its recent economic boost is fast also fast becoming one of the cleanest cities in Africa.
The country has outlawed polythene bags and has taken stiff measures to punish offenders. Bloomberg reports that tourists are cautioned on arrival not to enter the with any polythene bag whatsoever.
Kigali’s luxurious hostels have also attracted international attention and are helping to attract foreign revenue to the growing nation.
