American singer Janet Jackson gave a thrilling comeback performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards which celebrated some of music’s biggest names on Sunday night.
The performance at the awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was her first TV performance in nine years.
The five-minute performance saw Janet Jackson do a mashup of some of her hits.
The singer, who is also a dancer, did a couple of well-rehearsed dance moves on stage but what will stand out for Ghanaians is the ‘Akwaaba’ dance move.
The dance, which has gone viral globally, is for the song ‘Akwaaba’ (meaning Welcome), produced by Guilty Beatz. The song features Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo, and Patapaa.
