Rashelle Blue, a signee of sound engineer, Kaywa’s Highly Spiritual label, says she is looking forward to gracing big stages in 2019.
Rashelle Blue, referred to as Ghana’s golden girl and Afro Pop sweetheart by her record label, had her debut major performance at the 2017 United Kingdom edition of Ghana Meets Naija.
Born Rachel Arhin, Rashelle Blue, who was based in the UK, says she is back in Ghana to pursue her music career.
She told JoyNews’ MzGee that she is looking forward to becoming a household name by 2019.
“I was back home in London but I am back now. I am a Ghanaian so I want to represent my people. I am really proud to see that our people are doing something so major. I am just hoping to grace a stage next year, big big big visions,” she said.
Prior to the 2018 Ghana Music Awards, Kaywa was optimistic that his new artistes will grab some awards next year.
Reacting to her bosses’ optimism, Rashelle Blue says they are working on the quiet.
“You already know, we try to keep things on the low but we will see,” she said.
Rashelle Blue is known for her ‘Slow It Down’ and ‘Mempe Basa Basa’ tunes which featured highlife artiste Bisa Kdei.
