British-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei has signed a contract extension to stay with Premier League side Burnley for the next 12 months.
Agyei signed for Burnley in 2015 and made his debut for the Clarets against Liverpool last season - one of his three appearances for the club.
“I’m delighted to be staying,” he said.
“Hopefully I can come back next season and kick on and try and push for a place in the team.”
In his three years, he has been loaned three times. First to Coventry City where he made 16 appearances and scored four goals.
The 20-year-old was then farmed out to Walsall. He netted four strikes in 18 appearances for the League One outfit.
His third loan spell at Blackpool will end this season. He has played nine games with no goal.
