Black Prophet, born Kenneth Wilberforce Zonto Bossman, has lamented the lack of appreciation for his talent here in Ghana.
The reggae artiste, who has been off the Ghanaian scene for some years, told Hitz FM’s Daniella Adu Asare that he believes his music fetches him more income and opportunities abroad.
Agreeing with the biblical allusion that “a prophet is not honoured in his hometown”, he stated, “I am more appreciated abroad because I am touring on all the festivals and I am headlining the festivals internationally.”
The ‘Record of the Year’ award winner at last year’s BASS Awards, said that is the reason he prefers to live outside Ghana.
“Love goes where love is,” he stated.
