The Akuafo Hall Alumni Association (AHAA) has commiserated with the Old Vandals Association (OVA) over the unfortunate death of a member last Saturday.
In a statement Wednesday, the Association said the death of the former student identified as Chief Tipsy is a “tragic loss and one that should not have happened in the first place.”
AHAA General Secretary, Cyril A. Nai said the Association stands by its counterparts in their moment of sorrow as expected from members of the same community.

The police are holding a former student in their custody after he is alleged to have stabbed the victim multiple times during an altercation.
The tragic incident has rattled the university community, triggering calls for security to be intensified in the university.
But the former students of Akuafo Hall referred to as Farmers have condemned the act, describing it as a "heinous crime."
They have asked students of University of Ghana to let the death of Chief Tipsy constantly remind them of their role as “enlightened members of the society.”
The Farmers have also charged the police to ensure that justice is served to the family and friends of the deceased.
“We want to appeal to the Ghana Police Service to expedite investigations of the tragic incident,” Mr Nai said.
