Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology recorded a narrow 1-0 win over city rivals Kumasi Technical University to maintain a 100% record in the ongoing 2017 Tertiary Football League.
James Awadzi scored the only goal of the match in the first half to hand them victory at the Paa Joe stadium in Kumasi.

Baptist trotted out to a 3-0 first half win over Christian Services in a game that features the bottom-ranked teams in the Northern Division.
Christian Services fell behind by two more goals in the second half to round off the humiliating loss which will see the side continue to ride at the basement of the standings.
Prior to this afternoon’s result, Ghana Technology University College’s 4-0 win over Marshalls University College in the Southern Zone.
Marshalls University College’s winless run in the Tertiary Football League has been extended to three following the team’s loss to Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
The team lost 1-3 to GIMPA in the opening game of Week 5 in the Southern Zone condemning Marshalls to its third loss in as many games.
