Kotoko chairman rewards each player with ¢5,000 for FA Cup win

Asante Kotoko players will each be walking away with GH¢5,000 for clinching this year’s MTN FA Cup title at the expense of rivals Hearts of Oak.

Dr Kyei said on Asempa FM’s Fire for Fire Monday, that he was going to reward each player with GH¢5,000 for beating the Phobians 3-1 to clinch their ninth FA Cup trophy.

Former Atletico Madrid striker Sadick Adams’ sensational hat-trick led the Porcupine Warriors to a stunning victory over Hearts in Tamale on Sunday.

By virtue of winning the trophy, Kotoko will be the sole representative for Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
