Lapaz: Car snatching in broad daylight leaves 'everyone running for their lives'

An unregistered vehicle has been snatched after a chilling, broad daylight attack brought business to a standstill in the busy streets of Lapaz, a suburb of Accra.

According to an eyewitness account, "everyone was running for their lives" after an unmasked man pointed a gun at the face of the driver of the unregistered car on the N1 Highway.

Details of the attack remain sketchy but a police dispatch rider was shot at a very close range, according to eye witness account.
