Adam Kwarsey has joined Norwegian side Vålerenga Fotball on a three-year deal, reuniting with former coach Ronny Deila.
The experienced shot stopper has agreed a deal that will see him stay until 2020 in a move which sees him move from Brondby barely a year after joining the club based in Brøndbyvester
"It's fantastic to be back. It feels very right and very good, and I'm really looking forward, says Larsen Kwarasey
"I'll take the gold with Valerenga!
Kwarasey started his career at Valerenga but failed to break into first team as he left for Strømsgodset in 2007. He spent seven years there before signing for Portland Timbers in U.S.A.
Kwarasey returned to Norway after a successful two year spell in MLS, joining Rosenborg and later Brøndby.
The 29-year-old was named in the Black Stars team for the triple header against Ethiopia – Africa cup Of Nations qualifier – as well as friendlies with U.S.A and Mexico but asked to be excused so he takes care of family issues.
Kwarasey has been capped 35 times by Ghana and his last appearance was the 2-1 defeat to the United States of America in Brazil 2014.
